Fetch, Sip, and Socialize: Nashville's First Dog Park Bar Opens This Fall in The Nations

Urban Dog Bar: Nashville’s first dog park, bar, and restaurant will open in the Nations on October 4.
Facilities: Includes a 15,500 square-foot outdoor park and a 5,000 square-foot indoor area with restrooms, TVs, and seating.
Beverage Options: Offers local beer taps, wine, canned drinks, mocktails, and non-alcoholic dog beer.
Membership Passes: Available for daily, monthly, or annual access, with pricing starting at $12 per day and additional options for multiple dogs.
Owners' Inspiration: Austin and Rebecca Gauthier, inspired by their golden retrievers, aim to create a space where pet owners can socialize while their dogs have space to roam.

Empowering Nashville Girls: The New B.E. Academy Launches with a STEAM-Focused Future
B.E. Academy Inauguration: B.E. Academy, a new private non-profit school, opened in South Nashville on August 5, 2024, with 35 students in grades six through eight.
STEAM-Focused Education: The school offers a comprehensive curriculum in science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM), aimed at preparing Nashville girls for college, the workforce, or entrepreneurship.
Mission and Founders: Founded by Lydia Schumake and Tee Wilson, B.E. Academy's mission is to help girls transition from dependent learners to independent thinkers, with a focus on closing the gap in STEM careers and the arts for young women.
Expansion Plans: The school plans to expand to high school in 2025, eventually serving girls from grades six through twelve.
Community Support: The academy has already impacted over 150 students through various camps and programs, receiving strong support from its board and the community.
